Our favorite frontman, Steven Tyler has entered rehab in a clinic in Massachusetts for painkiller addicition. We wish him a fast recovery and hopefully we will see him rocking the stage soon enough with Aerosmith. They just don't make frontmen this awesome anymore so the of best wishes go out to Steven and his family. He can do it!

BILLBOARD’S NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE CARMEN ELECTRA HEATS UP THE LAS VEGAS STRIP AS HOST OF “BILLBOARD’S NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE”THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31, ON FOX
AMERICAN IDOL Winner Kris Allen and Finalist Allison Iraheta and Sean Kingston to Perform on Year-End Celebration. Eva Longoria Parker and Kim Kardashian are also confirmed guests.
World-renowned entertainer Carmen Electra is set to host BILLBOARD’S NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE airing Thursday, Dec. 31 (11:00 PM-12:30 AM ET live; CT/MT/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Join Electra for a New Year’s Eve to remember as she celebrates the biggest night of the year in a coast-to-coast television event. Actress Eva Longoria Parker is spicing up the biggest night of the year when she joins BILLBOARD’S NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE on FOX. Longoria Parker will invite viewers inside the grand opening celebration for her new Las Vegas Latin steakhouse, Beso, and luxurious nightclub, Eve, to get a glimpse of The Strip’s hottest new additions, which are located inside Crystals retail entertainment promenade at CityCenter. Kim Kardashian and some of the biggest names in Hollywood will join Longoria Parker to celebrate this momentous occasion.
AMERICAN IDOL Season Eight winner Kris Allen and finalist Allison Iraheta will shine along with the bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip when they take the stage to perform hits from their latest albums. Music sensation Sean Kingston will also join the celebration performing several of his biggest hits.
FOX cameras will be there to capture every electrifying moment from Las Vegas and the heart of New York City as the world-famous New Year’s Eve Ball makes its descent into Times Square. The New Year’s celebration will showcase some of the most memorable moments from the historic Billboard Music Awards, and will count down the Top 5 of the year in music, movies and television.
AMERICAN IDOLThe much-anticipated ninth season of AMERICAN IDOL returns with a two-night premiere airing Tuesday, Jan. 12 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Wednesday, Jan. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, television’s hit series promises to deliver the most unforgettable season yet as Ellen DeGeneres joins the judging panel to sit alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.
I participated in a conference call with KRIS ALLEN and ALLISON IRAHETA to promote their performances on the BILLBOARD’S NEW YEARS EVE LIVE on FOX. Here are some of the call’s highlights:
Q: What is some of your favorite music from this year?
ALLISON IRAHETA: I have to say Only By the Night, You'll Have To Take It From Me by Kings of Leon.
KRIS ALLEN: Yes. I would have to agree and I'm going to throw John Mayer's CD in there, too. Both of those are really good.
Q: Do you have any New Year’s Resolutions?
KRIS ALLEN: For me, it’s just work harder on music stuff, just writing and performing and all that. So, that's my resolution.
ALLISON IRAHETA: My New Year's resolution was to not have a New Year's resolution.
Q: What made you want to be performing live as the clock ticks down for New Year's as opposed to maybe being at home with your family or even at a party?
ALLISON IRAHETA: Who wouldn't want to be in Vegas performing. I mean, it's pretty much an experience of a lifetime for me and for both of us. It's going to be a lot of fun.
KRIS ALLEN: Yes. I'm excited about it. I've never actually been to Vegas. This is going to be fun for me.
Q: Twitter is a big part of your daily activities. Why is speaking to the fans through that forum such an important event for you guys?
ALLISON IRAHETA: I guess because it's an easier way to actually get in touch with them. I don't see any other way beside fan mail. Twitter is definitely an easier way to get to fans and that's why like using it because it's definitely easier.
KRIS ALLEN: I was thinking that fans see a different side of you. They just see you sing all the time. But for me, I think there's a lot of stuff that goes on in my head and I feel like Twitter is a good way to get that out.
Q: What one bit of advice would you give to American Idol hopefuls?
KRIS ALLEN: Just rock. There's only like one thing you could tell people it's just do the best.
Q: Are you surprised about the headlines that ADAM LAMBERT has been making?
KRIS ALLEN: No, anybody that knows him is not surprised at all.
Q: Do you think it's going to hurt him in anyway?
KRIS ALLEN: Obviously, it hasn't hurt him.
Q: Most memorable New Year's Eve?
ALLISON IRAHETA: I don't know. All of past New Year's Eve like, I've had, I was just with a huge family eating our faces off till the next morning, yes.
KRIS ALLEN: For me, last year, I was at a party, we had a party at my house and we had like this small deck on the roof. There was like 45 people at my house, or something like that, it was a lot, I don't know the number. We all had sparklers, or whatever, and somebody's pants caught on fire. So, that was pretty scary.
Q: What have you two heard about Las Vegas and New Year's Eve?
ALLISON IRAHETA: I heard that one thing we're doing is going to be pretty awesome. Plus we'll be broadcasting.
Q: You don't really strike me as the kind of guy who would embrace the glitz of Vegas. Are you going to be a fish out of water here?
KRIS ALLEN: We'll see what happens, you know. I'm going to have a good time, I can promise you that and it doesn't matter where I'm at, I'm going to have a good time.
Q: Both of you got to know Paula Abdul and the next season she won't be there. So I was wondering if you had some thoughts on what will be missing from the show, what she added to the show, without her there?
ALLISON IRAHETA: Obviously, we're all going to miss her. I honestly have to say that I'm pretty happy that we got the chance to work with her. Sorry season nine! But, they're getting Ellen, so we'll see how that goes. I really want to see what she has to bring to the table.
KRIS ALLEN: Yes. Paula is the one we get to know the best. She is a sweetheart. I think the show will definitely miss her. Obviously, people tuned in to watch what Paula was going to do. But she was just a nice person to have on there, but Ellen's going to be, I don't know of one person that doesn't like Ellen.
Q: Following up on the previous person's question, you know, so were swapping out Paula on Idol this season for Ellen; but now there's talk that Simon Cowell brings X factor to America, that he's going to leave Idol after this coming season. I mean, honestly, do you really think Idol can continue on minus Paula and Simon can it survive that kind of a double whammy?
KRIS ALLEN: I mean, obviously, Simon's a big watching point for a lot of people and they would have to replace him but I really don't have a clue.
Q: Everybody fell in love with you guys in your cover songs, on the show and on the American Idol tour. So, what is it like now getting out there and performing your own material?
KRIS ALLEN: That's the reason that I tried out for American Idol; it wasn't to go up there and sing a bunch of cover songs for millions of people, it was to hopefully get the chance to make music of my own and that's what we're both getting to do now.
Q: Now, after the New Year, how are you looking to use your American Idol success but also create your own musical identity?
KRIS ALLEN: For me, it's about putting what's inside of me and everything that I know I can do into music and just coming out with good stuff. That's what means the most to me and music means the most to me. I just want to make music and I want people to hear it and I want to be pleasantly successful doing it. So, that's my plan.
ALLISON IRAHETA: I guess for me I would do the same. Maybe get my name out there, that wouldn't hurt. I mean, don't get me wrong; getting known as "Oh it's the redheaded girl from American Idol," it's pretty cool. But I think for people to know who I am and for what I do that would be great.
Q: Obviously, there was a point in time where musicians just made music and that was it. But, now-a-days, obviously, you know, you do talk shows, you do magazine covers, you do, the New Year's Eve special. How much do you enjoy doing these other things? And how important are they to the overall success of your music careers?
KRIS ALLEN: Obviously, they're very important, you know. They're very important to what we do and to sell records people need to see you. And that's fine. I'm doing Letterman today, like, I'm excited. I grew up watching that show. So for me, I love doing that stuff.
Q: Why do you think people like American Idol so much? I mean, the show is still massive in the ratings. What do you think the reason is?
KRIS ALLEN: I think the beauty about American Idol is that it takes people that they can relate to, people that maybe acts like a friend of there's, or has the same job or something like that, and makes them into rock stars or country stars, or pop stars, or whatever. I think that's the beauty of it all is that a person coming from nothing to a lot of fame.
ALLISON IRAHETA: It's a reality show, I mean. Anyone gets stuck on a reality show, especially one like American Idol that has four judges; it's definitely an interesting show.
Q: Kris, I know you've been busy with Jingle Balls. What was it like performing to a sold out show at Madison Square Garden?
KRIS ALLEN: I keep going back and thinking about it because I think it was like probably the best show that I've been apart of considering the artist that were there. I just wanted to perform longer. But I thought it was incredible. I though it was an incredible night and getting to perform at Madison Square Garden, obviously is a huge deal. So, I think that will be something that will always stick with me.

P.O.S Announces "Every Never Is Now" Headlining Tour
It's been quite a year for Rhymesayers recording artist P.O.S - Never Better marked the third album from this Minneapolis rapper, which appeared on multiple year end lists including Spin's "Top 10 Best Album You Might Have Missed" and MySpace's Top 50. After four videos (Drumroll, Optimist, Purexed, Never Better), a cover of Pearl Jam’s “Why Go”, MTV2 Discover and Download artist nod, a solo cup performance at the MTVu Woodies and non-stop touring it doesn’t look like P.O.S. will be slowing down anytime soon. He'll hit the road in February on a two month "Every Never Is Now" headlining tour. Full list of confirmed dates is below.
If you slept on Never Better back when it was released in February, don't sweat it. You still have time to get hip to one of the year's best releases before the year is over. Never Better combines a unique, powerful blend of rock, punk and hip hop that's appealing to a wide range of musical tastes. Just ask Kanye West and Pete Wentz, they dig.

Not only is MATT BOMER a fantastic actor but he could charm the pants off a tree. Did I mention he was stunning to say the least. This has to be USA Network's best new show of 2009.

SCARLETT O’HARA Sign to Rise Records
SCARLETT O’HARA SIGN TO RISE RECORDS
Rise Records is proud to announce the signing of SCARLETT O'HARA. Don't let their name fool you, there's not even a shred of southern charm or grace to be found with this metalcore outfit. Rather, this south Texas six-piece is all about ruthless guitar riffs and unapologetic breakdowns. Scarlett O'Hara are on the brink of unveiling their debut album this fall which will be recorded and produced by Joey Sturgis (The Devil Wears Prada, Attack Attack!, For The Fallen Dreams). Driven to stake a claim for themselves coupled with an overwhelming amount of momentum, Scarlett O'Hara are standing by to deliver one of 2010's most
awaited albums.

VIDEO FOR THE TRACK "WHAT IS LOVE?" PREMIERES ON MYSPACE TODAY
Burbank, CA – Never Shout Never, the brainchild of 18-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist Christofer Drew, will release a digital four song EP through all online service providers today as well as through www.shockhound.com and www.nevershoutnever.com. This is a digital version of the physical EP that was released exclusively through clothing retailer Hot Topic on December 8th. A video for the track to "What is Love?" will premiere exclusively on MySpace on today.
The EP features two songs from Never Shout Never's upcoming eight-song release for Loveway Records/Sire ("Jane Doe" and "What is Love?"), a live track ("Big City Dreams" from 2008's The Yippee EP), and a b-side ("She's Got Style"), plus two music videos ("On the Brightside" from 2009's The Summer EP and a live video of "Trouble" - a song from 2009's Me & My Uke EP - that was shot in Grand Rapids, MI, in July).
Drew has recently put the finishing touches on this release, entitled What Is Love? with noted producer Butch Walker (Weezer, Katy Perry, Pete Yorn). Recorded in both Los Angeles and London (at the world-famous Abbey Road Studio), it will be released by Loveway Records/Sire on January 26th, 2010. Fans will be able to pre-order a copy of "What Is Love?" which will include two lithographs autographed by Christofer Drew beginning today on www.nevershoutnever.com.
Drew will hit the road in January for a solo acoustic tour in support of What Is Love? He will also perform a series of very special shows backed by a string quartet in December. Never Shout Never recently completed a headlining tour, culling tunes from What Is Love?, as well as from the three EP's Drew released on his own Loveway Records: The Yippee EP, the Me & My Uke EP, and The Summer EP, which broke into the iTunes Top 10 Album chart in June. Drew took home the coveted "Breaking Woodie" Award at the MTVu Woodie Awards on November 19th.

HUGH LAURIE TO DIRECT EPISODE OF “HOUSE”
HUGH LAURIE TO DIRECT EPISODE OF “HOUSE”
Hugh Laurie, star and executive producer of HOUSE, will direct an upcoming episode of the hit FOX series scheduled to air this spring. This marks the first time Laurie has directed an episode of HOUSE in the more than 100 episodes produced to date.
“I am thrilled, daunted and honoured – with a ‘u’ – by this new responsibility,” said Laurie. “HOUSE scripts are Fabergé eggs, and I will try my very hardest not to drop this one on a stone floor.”
“I’ve wanted him to direct since Season One. In fact, I can’t believe he’s actually doing it,” said HOUSE executive producer Katie Jacobs. “There is no one more qualified to direct the show than Hugh Laurie. I’m sure this is evident to anyone who’s seen the show, but he is simply the most versatile, talented, funny actor on TV today. Add to that an impeccable feeling for the visual storytelling, and you have the makings of a great director. I don’t know how he’s going to be in two places at once, but that part we’ll just have to figure out.”
According to Jacobs, the episode Laurie is directing is “very intense and truly a director’s piece.”
In addition to his many film and television acting credits, the multi-talented, Emmy-nominated Laurie has directed television programs and commercials, composed and recorded numerous original songs and written articles for London’s The Daily Telegraph newspaper. His writing credits include the groundbreaking U.K. series he starred in with Stephen Fry, “A Bit of Fry and Laurie.” His first novel, “The Gun Seller,” was published in both the U.K. and the U.S. to critical acclaim and has been adapted into a screenplay.
Laurie’s performance as “Dr. Gregory House” has garnered him two Golden Globe Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. He has twice been honored by the Television Critics Association with TCA Awards for Individual Achievement in Drama.
HOUSE is an innovative take on the medical drama in which the villain is a medical malady and the hero is an irreverent, controversial doctor who trusts no one, least of all his patients. The series also stars Lisa Edelstein, Robert Sean Leonard, Omar Epps, Jennifer Morrison, Jesse Spencer, Olivia Wilde and Peter Jacobson.
HOUSE is from Heel and Toe Films, Shore Z Productions and Bad Hat Harry Productions in association with Universal Media Studios. Katie Jacobs, David Shore, Paul Attanasio, Bryan Singer, Russel Friend, Garrett Lerner, Thomas L. Moran and Hugh Laurie are executive producers.

KISS Live Photos & Review TD Banknorth Garden Boston, MA

KISS Live show review By DJ Sterling Golden
KISS Live Photos by Lena Lamoray
KISS never does anything in moderation. That's not what one expects from the group nicknamed "The Hottest Band In the World". When the KISS ALIVE 35 World Tour recently reached North America after a year and a half of performing to sold-out arenas and stadiums the world over, one had to know it would be one of their biggest, most impressive setups to date. The end result included a massive screen stretching across the wall of the stage like a movie screen that just got outed for steroid use. Said screen was anchored by an endless amount of smaller screens, all neatly wrapped in enough towers of flame and fiery explosions to level a small town.Â
Last night's show was the 10th time I've seen KISS. Just as they did at my first show in 1992, KISS held the standing-room-only crowd at TD Garden in their collective palm, treating the audience to a two-hour-plus set of hits and history backed by the aforementioned visual presentation. It's what the band is best known for in the live setting, and last night's show certainly reminded everyone why they are the unquestioned kings of the live concert experience. The set got off to a bombastic start, with their incredible cover of the Hollywood Stars' "King of the Night Time World" (thank you for sending this one their way back in '76, Kim Fowley), followed by "Deuce", a favorite dating back to the band's earliest days. Gene Simmons belts out the track with as much power and panache as he did when he was just a young, aspiring, twenty something Demon looking to attain rock 'n' roll stardom. Audience participation was rampant throughout the evening, as Paul Stanley -- the longtime star of the KISS center stage and the band's onstage emcee -- would lead the crowd through fist-pumping call-and-response sessions, punctuated by his acceleration above the audience from the main stage to a smaller stage in the back of the arena, to belt out "Love Gun" surrounded by some of his greatest admirers.
As Stanley made clear last night, KISS has never been a band who dealt with talking politics or preaching about the world's troubles. The music of KISS changed the world by providing music lovers with escapism in its purest, most basic form, better than any other band in history. In keeping with this ideal, the band turned TD Garden into a rock 'n' roll dance party, as fans of all ages and cultures filled the aisles, letting the music take over their minds and bodies. Tracks including new single "Modern Day Delilah" and classics ranging from "100,000 Years" to "Lick It Up" to the band's immortal anthem "Rock And Roll All Nite" provided the crowd with more than enough reason to forget their worries and concerns with everyday life and turn a Monday night into something resembling a late Friday night. Amidst showers of light and ivory confetti, KISS delivered what was, far and away, the biggest and best live concert event anyone in the Bean has ever experienced. Yes, that includes U2 and that silly giant crab they gave us at Gillette Stadium a few weeks ago. Sit down, Bono.
As exhibited onstage, the band's current lineup of Stanley, Simmons, lead guitarist Tommy Thayer and three-time KISS drummer Eric Singer is arguably the most musically dynamic KISS lineup since their acclaimed early 90's lineup (which, interestingly, contained a near-identical lineup; just swap out Thayer for Bruce Kulick). The overall musical performance was tight, precise, and more energetic than anyone could expect from a group whose members' age ranges from 48 to 60. In particular, Thayer and Singer impressed, the former exhibiting impressive guitar chops and the latter bashing the skins with ferocious execution. The snarling bass licks of Simmons showcased his underrated musical talent, while the golden voice of Stanley, while slightly weathered after over 35 years of performing, still showcased great range and brought chills up the spines of the beautiful cougars in the crowd who screamed ecstatically with every gyration of his hips and wiggle of his ass.
All of this comes during a tremendously exciting time for KISS. Their first new studio joint of original material in 11 years, Sonic Boom, drops this week exclusively at Walmart, amid huge anticipation and promotional hype. The band is fresh off receiving their long-deserved nomination into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Without a doubt, the world's ready to be KISSed like never before. If last night at the Garden was any indication, it's a KISS they will not soon forget.
Once again, the people of Boston have experienced firsthand why KISS are America's biggest band ever. The Bean has been conquered one more time.

KMFDM
September 2009 House of Blues Boston, MA Live Photos & Show Review by Lena Lamoray
The German phenomenon known as KMFDM brought their KEIN MITLEID WORLD TOUR 2009 to Boston since they are “celebrating 25 years of the ultra-heavy beat.” KMFDM wrote the book on industrial music and rightfully so, they possess what many industrial bands are missing, powerful vocals and a talented real band to back them up. LUCIA CIFARELLI is an adept vocalist with enough power behind her voice to illuminate a small village. I would rank LUCIA as one of the best female vocalists I have seen live. ANDY SELWAY is one momentous drummer with just the right amount of aggression, flare and handsomeness to keep everyone captivated. JULES HODGSON and STEVE WHITE combined forces to deliver double guitar mayhem. SASCHA KONIETZKO is the founder and authority of KMFDM and I don’t think anyone could ever say no to him. His live presence is as demanding as his voice. KMFDM is a force to be reckoned with and after twenty five years they are still going strong by packing in clubs and delivering superb live performances. They have a strong fan base that is constantly evolving. Go and see KMFDM live and add their previous and current releases to your album collection. BLITZ is their newest release on KMFDM RECORDS/METROPOLIS.

MIKA Live Photos & Review The Orpheum Theatre Boston, MA
MIKA
October 2009 Orpheum Theatre Boston, MA
Live Photos and Show Review by Lena Lamoray
I was first introduced to MIKA on THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW in 2007 and I have been hooked ever since. MIKA fills the void that is missing from music today. He is bubbling with charisma, flare and unabashed talent. His album LIFE IN CARTOON MOTION got my attention with LOVE TODAY and GRACE KELLY being my absolute favorites. THE BOY WHO KNEW TOO MUCH, his new album came out in September and is definitely worth owning so pick up both and go into a MIKA induced feel good coma.
It was my first time seeing him live and honestly I knew he was going to be good but he proved to be magnificent. You can tell MIKA puts his all into his live shows. Everything is carefully planned out from the stage sets to the black light make-up. I love it when artists put the time in and develop a live stage show that tells a story and leaves us eager to know how it ends. I can’t think of a show that I have ever seen that has pieced together a moon landing, a half naked astronaut, a teapot on steroids and a puppet show and made a magical evening out of it. MIKA was performing so hard during the first couple of songs that he split his trousers. Luckily, this isn’t a death metal show so a costume change in front of us was a welcome event. MIKA is a good looking man with a tall in shape physique that includes perfectly tousled hair, nice feet and did I mention his British accent. I can certainly see why women and men fawn over him. All that being said and I still have not even gotten to the best part of MIKA, his voice! To say this man can sing doesn’t do him justice. His voice is in the realms of FREDDIE MERCURY and GEORGE MICHAEL. His voice is just so pure and downright beautiful and he can pull it off live. In fact, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about his show at all. Everything was perfect and the show featured some of my favorite things; retro clothing, feather hats, costume changes, colorful sets, moons, confetti and of course, MIKA. He even invited the crowd to sing with him. Of course, my favorite performance was LOVE TODAY but perhaps that is because that was my introduction into the wonderful world of MIKA. One thing is for certain, when you see MIKA live you will leave feeling a million times better than when you went in. With all the bad things happening in the world today it is nice to take a break from them and go on a musical journey with a true inspiration. Thanks MIKA!

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE 2009 9/22/09 Agganis Arena Boston, MA
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE 2009 9/22/09 Agganis Arena Boston, MA Live Photos & Show Review by Lena Lamoray
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE is in my opinion the best dance show on television. They bring in world renowned choreographers like MIA MICHAELS, SONYA TAYEH, TYCE DIORIO, MANDY MOORE, ADAM SHANKMAN and many more. They even bring back their most talented contestants as featured choreographers like TRAVIS WALL. All styles of dance from Broadway to Bollywood are covered on the show. SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE live is a beautiful and highly recommended experience. You will witness a cast introduction, group numbers, duets, solos and everything else in between. There is nothing better than seeing you favorite dancers performing the best numbers of the season right in front of you. It is a festival of high kicks, leaps, flips, jazz hands and yes splits galore! What more could you possibly want? JEANINE MASON is the season five champ and BRANDON BRYANT was the runner up but by far my favorite of the show. BRANDON has the most breathtakingly statuesque physique I have ever seen. He is a powerhouse and lifted his partner, the very stunning, JANETTE MANURARA over his head with one arm like it was nothing. BRANDON and JANETTE proved that disco is not dead it was just waiting for them to revive it. They are the disco masters! Go and see SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE live and don’t miss Season 6 on FOX now.

PSYCHIC LEADS BRENNAN AND BOOTH TO AN UNMARKED GRAVE ON THE SEASON PREMIERE OF “BONES”
PSYCHIC LEADS BRENNAN AND BOOTH TO AN UNMARKED GRAVE ON THE SEASON PREMIERE OF “BONES”
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, ON FOX Cyndi Lauper Guest-Stars
It’s been six weeks since Booth and Brennan have seen each other. Booth has been recovering from brain surgery, and Brennan has been on a dig in Guatemala. Angela’s psychic, Avalon Harmonia (guest star Cyndi Lauper), reveals while reading Angela’s tarot cards that there are multiple bodies buried under a Washington, DC fountain. Angela shares the information with Brennan and Booth, but they’re both a little skeptical considering the source. The lead pans out, and the duo find the remains of 11 bodies exactly where the psychic said they would be. Meanwhile, Sweets has certified Booth mentally fit to return to duty after his brain surgery, but Booth is still experiencing some side effects from the coma in the “Harbingers in the Fountain” season premiere episode of BONES airing Thursday, Sept. 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

I took part in a conference call with EMILY DESCHANEL and HART HANSON from FOX’s hit series, BONES. In case you have not made the switch to digital television or have been hibernating I will give you three reasons to watch BONES: EMILY DESCHANEL, DAVID BOREANAZ and HART HANSON. EMILY gives an award winning performance as the methodical and brilliant DR. TEMPERANCE BRENNAN. DAVID plays FBI SPECIAL AGENT SEELEY BOOTH, a wise cracking, no holds barred agent. HART HANSON is the reason why we have BONES since he was kind enough to put his original dream of being a “heavy metal guitar god” on hold in order to lend his talents to the television world. He is the Creator and Executive Producer of BONES and works at keeping us entertained.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH ON FOX WILL BE THE SEASON PREMIERE OF BONES WITH CYNDI LAUPER GUEST STARRING! WATCH IT!!!
Some conference call highlights of questions answered by EMILY DESCHANEL (Dr. Temperance “BONES” Brennan) and HART HANSON (Creator):
ZOOEY DESCHANEL will be guest starring at some point and it looks like it will be the Christmas episode, hopefully. BONES is going to continue to cope with everything rationally and use her big brain instead of her heart. Everyone is getting impatient on ANGELA & HODGINS getting together. Fans vocalize their opinions to HART all the time. BONES really wants to have BOOTH’s baby and not just a baby but doesn’t know it yet. That issue will be addressed at some point in the series. DAVID BOREANAZ’s real life baby is doing great and he is a much happier and calmer man since she has arrived. BONES will be coming back for another season at the same time slot on the same day. Even without the past stability of the same time slot BONES has grown and has developed a strong fan base. BOOTH starts out the season wearing black ties and minus his cocky belt buckles and that can be attributed to his recent surgery and he will need some time to get back to normal. The crossover between BONES and LIE TO ME is a work in progress and will hopefully work its way into happening. T.J. THYNE has the most time off so he often tweets and keeps everyone up to date. HART agreed to do the show since he could do what he wanted with it and got to add humor and a special chemistry between the characters. HART also points out the fact that the remains that are used on the show are barely recognizable so it makes the humor easier since the actors are not standing over someone’s mother. They make it a point to make the bodies hideous enough that it is almost funny and borders on the grotesque and macabre. HART also noted that the show is not a big shiny show since most of the cast is not that way with the exception of DAVID who is the biggest personality of the show. HART talked about how the show is politically incorrect and is still amazed that they got the line, “Jesus was a zombie” spoken by BONES to air. They are happy that they are able to use the show to get out different points of view on religion, sexuality and more in a fair and sometimes humorous way. HART’s favorite episodes are the ones dealing with religion. HART thinks that secretly BIG BANG THEORY was started because of EMILY. BONES made nerdy cool. WWW.LENALAMORAY.COM

An interview with TOMASZ ORION WROBLEWSKI From BEHEMOTH
BEHEMOTH
An interview with TOMASZ ORION WROBLEWSKI
Interviewed at the Comcast Theater in CT at the 2009 ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL
Interviewed by Brandon Lee
Forward and Live Photos by Lena Lamoray

BEHEMOTH has been bringing their visionary construct to the masses since 1991. They take their audience on a visual and auditory journey into their dark world. They are frequently met with opposition due to their artistic interpretation and their favor of the dark arts. Their videos depict vivid imagery that some people choose not to handle but I feel they are inventive and perfect accompaniments to their music. BEHEMOTH just released their ninth studio album, EVANGELION and it available everywhere on METAL BLADE RECORDS so pick up a copy.
Brandon: Let’s talk about your new record.
ORION: It’s our 9th record and we tried to stay more focused on the music itself and the atmosphere. With this album, we are kind of going back, I would say.
Brandon: So, would you say this is a more sinister piece?
ORION: There are so many brutal death metal bands, and we are not trying to compete. People say we are blackened death metal or extreme metal, or whatever. We don’t really fit into any labels.
Brandon: Well, I guess your image, the corpse paint, is the only thing that can sell you as black metal then.
ORION: Probably.
Brandon: So, your fan response in America is very positive, and I have no idea what goes on in Europe. All I know is you’re close to getting banned from your homeland.
ORION: Yeah, they are called the All-Polish Committee for Defense Against Sects. They are giving us a hard time; they are some kind of organization working for one of the government parties. We had some shows cancelled, some court trials, and so far we have won them all.
Brandon: This is all for your anti-Christian act?
ORION: Yes. They are actually giving us a lot of press. Like mainstream kind of press, this is good, even if they speak badly about us.
Brandon: Well, in America, not too many people will chew you out for saying “Fuck Jesus!”
ORION: Still we are having protests at the shows.
Brandon: Well, it gives you more press, like you said, which worked for Marilyn Manson, who you are on tour with.
Brandon: I am to understand you guys are regular guys who enjoy football and lift weights for fun?
ORION: Yeah, we spend most of our time on tour, and once you realize it is your life happening, you should stop treating your body like a bag full of shit. Because when you’re on tour, you’re eating shit, and doing crazy stuff and it doesn’t affect you until the time that you realize that that’s your life and you’re not going to go back home for months. And, Behemoth stage shows are kind of demanding.
Brandon: I just heard your new record leaked on the internet. Now a bunch of people are downloading it for free. Is that the kind of thing that bothers you?
ORION: It is too bad it was a little too early, but it was going to the internet at some time. Still, whoever wants to buy it is going to buy it anyway. Metal music is kind of specific. People buy the records just to have them.
Brandon: So if they download the music for free, then they better go buy a $20 t-shirt!
ORION: Yes! Please. That is awesome.

2009 CRUE FEST 2 Live photos MOTLEY CRUE GODSMACK COMCAST CENTER Mansfield, MA
2009 CRUE FEST 2
COMCAST CENTER Mansfield, MA
Live photos and review by Lena Lamoray
CRUE FEST returned this year with a second installment of new bands and the legendary rock darlings, MOTLEY CRUE. The Monster Energy Stage featured REV THEORY, 16 SECOND STARE, CAVO and SHRAM. The main stage brought us MOTLEY CRUE, GODSMACK, THEORY OF A DEADMAN, DROWNING POOL and CHARM CITY DEVILS.
The classic hard rock band from Baltimore, CHARM CITY DEVILS opened the main stage and played a tight set that started the night out right. They are signed to NIKKI SIX’s label, ELEVEN SEVEN MUSIC, for a good reason. Their music is a blend of classic, blues and rip roar n’ rock n’ roll.
These guys rock their tight pants and their guitar player, NICK KAY offered me up one hell of a handshake. DROWNING POOL is always a great band to catch live. I’ve seen them a few times and they always put on an energetic and pleasing show. I love the vintage style microphone that RYAN McCOMBS uses. DROWNING POOL has had their music featured in a bunch of films such as THE PUNISHER and more and just about every sporting event, especially the WWE. BODIES is the best rage ready rock hit for any event. I can honestly say that they are really just a bunch of laid back guys with really pleasant attitudes that just happen to put out music that will kick you in the ass. THEORY OF A DEADMAN remind me a lot of NICKELBACK but I think the pompadour sporting front man, TYLER CONNOLLY was having an off night because he was not pulling off some of his vocal ranges. I have never seen them live before but I have to believe he hits them a lot better on most nights. Someone get that man a cup of tea with honey! The band as a whole was good. GODSMACK is always a favorite in the Massachusetts area and the girls and guys (you know who you are) go crazy over SULLY ERNA perhaps because his name is so much fun to say. They have even invented a game that uses his name, odd I know. They brought back the use of the spotlight and that was well received. GODMACK loves their explosions! They sounded great and showcased their hits VOODOO, I STAND ALONE, STRAIGHT OUT OF LINE and more. Hopefully, we will have a new album in 2010.
The reason for the CRUE FEST 2 is of course MOTLEY CRUE. You want to talk about a stage set-up! The show opened to reveal a patient on a vintage hospital gurney being “cared” for by treacherous doctors. Then the band was revealed in a white padded room set where they performed the first song, DR. FEELGOOD and then the walls were lifted to showcase an elaborate stage with platforms and levels and dancing girls. MOTLEY CRUE certainly gives you your money’s worth with stage set galore. As a photographer you can not ask for anymore except of course for TOMMY LEE to be present. Damn, you sparklers and those overzealous hands of MR. LEE! This was my first time photographing MOTLEY CRUE and I really wanted to capture all of the members. Not to say that MORGAN ROSE didn’t do a great job. That guy is a true pro. He had little time to prepare but stepped up and filled some really, really big shoes. MOTLEY CRUE have been around since the early ‘80’s and still have withstood the test of time and remain relevant in today’s musical society. Many other bands have tried to be just like them but there will only be one MOTLEY CRUE that consists of VINCE NEIL, TOMMY LEE, MICK MARS and NIKKI SIXX. It is great to see MICK MARS performing and doing what he loves. He is certainly an inspiration to pretty much everyone. The live set highlights were KICKSTART MY HEART, WITHOUT YOU, SHOUT AT THE DEVIL, HOME SWEET HOME, GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS and more. MOTLEY CRUE live appeals to every sense, after all, no other band will ever sound, feel, look, taste and smell like MOTLEY CRUE.

GREEN DAY & THE BRAVERY TD Banknorth Garden Boston, MA Live Photos & Show Review
GREEN DAY
THE BRAVERY
TD BANKNORTH GARDEN in BOSTON, MA
JULY 20th 2009
LIVE PHOTOS and REVIEW by LENA LAMORAY
Could there be any better way of spending your birthday than photographing GREEN DAY and THE BRAVERY? Of course not! What a show and what a great couple of bands. I have seen THE BRAVERY live and interviewed them the last time they toured the area and they were great then but even better this time around. I thought they sounded perfect and all of the members stepped it up. JOHN CONWAY found his groove behind his keys and SAM ENDICOTT brought forth that crazed dancing and swinging that he is known for. He has such a lanky frame that it just works for him. I can’t stress enough how great they sounded while performing some fan favorite tunes such as AN HONEST MISTAKE, TIME WON’T LET ME GO and BELIEVE. It is fantastic to see them on tour with GREEN DAY.
GREEN DAY is finally back with a new album and tour and it is about time. We have all been waiting for this punk rock phenomenon to resurface. Their album 21st CENTURY BREAKDOWN has already spawned hits and it has only been released for a few months. Seeing GREEN DAY live is like the ultimate fan party. They invited fans far up in the rafters down and others to join them on stage and partake in the stage show and crowd surfing. It is nice to see a band so high up on the food chain that doesn’t treat their fans as prey. Energy is an understatement of what each member of this band possesses. I have never seen so many jumps, leaps and stage hi jinks in my life. BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG, MIKE DIRNT, TRE COOL and crew did an exceptional job of bringing this rock opera to life. Who can’t appreciate such songs as AMERICAN IDIOT, BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS, WAKE ME UP BEFORE SEPTEMBER ENDS, WHEN I COME AROUND, KNOW YOUR ENEMY and more. Live GREEN DAY surpassed any expectations that I had of them. Don’t miss this tour!
